Welcome to Innovedits ("we," "our," or "us"). We're a Philippines-based video editing and creative direction agency serving content creators and influencers. We're committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our premium, done-for-you video editing and creative direction services (the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, and information automatically collected when you use our platform.

A. Personal & Business Information

When you onboard as a client, book a project, or subscribe to a retainer, we may collect:

Identity Data: your name, creator/brand name, and associated social media handles
Contact Data: email address, phone number, and billing address
Billing Data: payment instrument details for one-time projects or monthly retainers (processed securely by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers)

B. Content Data (your assets)

To deliver our editing and creative direction services, we collect the assets you provide via your private Drive/Dropbox folder, including:

Raw Footage: video and audio files submitted for editing
Brand Assets: logos, fonts, brand guidelines, and reference content
Briefs & Creative Direction: your instructions, pacing notes, scripts, shot lists, and creative direction (for clients on our Authority Package)

C. Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website:

Device Data: IP address, browser type, operating system
Log Data: pages viewed, time on page, and general clickstream data

3. How We Use Your Information

Service Delivery: to edit, color-grade, process, and deliver your video content
Creative Direction: to plan scripts, shot lists, and content direction for Authority Package clients
Project Management: to manage quality assurance, included revisions, and project timelines
Communication: to send watermarked review drafts, invoices, and final deliverables
Security: to protect the integrity of your private folders and our production infrastructure

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following, to run our operations:

Elite Post-Production Network: Innovedits works with a vetted network of sub-editors who execute production under your brief. Every sub-editor operates under a written Non-Disclosure Agreement and a Non-Solicitation clause — they never receive your contact details, and they're contractually barred from contacting you directly or publicly claiming your work. Ecxii (Innovedits) remains your sole point of contact throughout.
Cloud Storage Providers: Google Drive and/or Dropbox, to securely store and transfer your raw files and exports
Payment Processors: to handle invoicing, deposits, and recurring retainer billing
Legal Obligations: if required by Philippine law or a valid request from a public authority, including the National Privacy Commission (NPC)

5. Data Retention

Account & Project Data: retained for as long as you're an active client, or as needed to deliver the Services
Raw Footage & Project Files: typically retained for 30 days after your final, unwatermarked delivery is approved, then permanently deleted to manage storage capacity. Please keep your own permanent backup of all original footage.

6. Security of Your Data

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information, including access-controlled private folders and mandatory NDAs across our entire production team. That said, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Privacy Rights (Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012)

As a Philippines-based business, Innovedits processes personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Be informed that your data is being collected and processed
Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction / rectification of inaccurate data
Erasure or blocking of your data, where legally permitted
Object to certain uses of your data
Data portability, where applicable
Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC)

9. International Clients

If you're located outside the Philippines, your information may be processed and stored on servers operated by our cloud and payment providers in other countries. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer.
